First off, the service I received from Smart Tech Wear was an absolute pleasure. They answered my online questions within minutes and were very helpful. They went as far as sending me actual photos on WhatsApp so I could compare devices. Even after I had bought the watch, they still answered my questions. Great service, guys!
I’ve had the K28 for a few days now. I’ve have a Samsung Gear S3, a Gear Fit 2, a Suunto Ambit and an oldish Polar. Obviously the K28 can’t be lumped into the same category as these, but it is a good basis to understand my benchmark for comparison.
For the price, I didn’t expect much from the build quality of the watch, but I was blown away. I was expecting about 20% of the Gear S3 Frontier, but it is more like 80%. My only criticisms about the watch is the workout recording and the sleep tracking. For the former, I wore my Suunto chest strap for comparison and the K28 was quite far off at times, in terms of heart rate reading. Having said that, the overall workout was just over 10% off.
Considering the price difference, I can’t really complain about it. For sleep tracking, I wore the K28 on my one wrist and my Gear Fit 2 on the other. When I got up to go to the toilet, the K28 interpreted that as the end of my sleep and assumed the rest of time, after I went back to sleep, I was simply inactive. The Gear Fit 2 saw my trip to the toilet as active, and correctly recorded the rest of my sleep. Again, considering the affordability of the K28, I can live with the inaccuracies.
My overall rating is actually 4.5/5, 5 for the service I received from Smart Tech Wear and 4 for the actual device

Firstly, one of the watch faces is customizable with a photo of your choice as a background. With the 360×360 resolution this works phenomenally well. It was a great surprise. Secondly, the app, DaFit, works well. I was expecting multiple crashes a day, but it seems to be very stable. It has minimal features, but provides all the necessary basics and works very well. The interface is intuitive and easy to use.
Smart Tech Wear delivered early within 10 days and the communication with emails and tracking of the parcel was first class.
Definitely recommend to anyone buying tech gear to shop here
